Okay, now my facebook page is getting annoying. All my family and friends that give two poops about hockey are not suddenly The. Greatest. Hockey. Fans. Ever. Please. I'm sure that happens to everyone!

Well the rest of our teams have been doing squat lately, so I'll take the possible Stanley Cup, please.

FYI I am also a Sox fan, not a Cubs fan since I am a southsider it was indoctrined. I stopped watching when they went on strike the first time. (I keep saying I will with hockey, but I haven't yet!) watched the Bulls religiously though the eighties and nineties, and once you've lived though an era like Jordan, it's all EH. My dad now lives next to the Chicago Fire stadium, so we've been to a few games there. Superfun! I wish our country loved soccer a little more and actually called it FOOTBALL.

I have been superbusy, been trying to read Sid's Listening Ears without kids destroying the house so it's about 20 minutes in the evening before spousal unit is wondering what is taking me so long, HA!

I have to tell you that I have been waiting to read this fic forever and from when you first mentioned it eons ago because my dad is a member of the Lincoln Highway society or whatever it is called and I grew up with him talking about that era all the time. I read your premise and totally had to bookmark it! Now I just need to find time.

I totally by accident charted a course to Denver that just happened to match up very nicely with the Lincoln Highway. I frankly just took a ruler and laid it on the map! If I ever do get around to expanding and improving the story, now that I know about the highway, I'll be able to use names of actual cities and towns. Imagine that! :-D
