dicranumOnto the Kings. Though I have to say that series against the Wings was rough. Second only to watching the game, I love how all the food places around here have 'Blackhawk' deals for pizza and wings and other stuff.
Of course, I am jaded from the strike, but when your team is winning, sometimes it's easy to forget that bit.
The kids had a pep rally in school for the Blackhawks, and I realized only one son has a T-shirt in this house. the others only have a jersey and I have authentic home and away jerseys for Chelios which I can't wear because after he played for the Hawks, he went to the Redwings for like 9 years and so can't wear that one!
Being a Chicago sports fan can be such a PITA sometimes. And I can't afford Hawks tickets anyway- I go to Chicago Wolves and Rockford Icehogs games.
